Last month i thought to buy a new Micro SD.I checked in both Online stores and the Local stores,because of the low price and ease to buy i bought it from the local store.It was named Samsung 16GB CLASS 10 but was a fake one,the packet were sealed and even when i checked it in my mobile it showed the capacity as 15 GB or nearer to it.
When i realized that i bought a fake one,after an hour of argument he gave me the money back and i bought a San disk Class 10 Ultra Micro SD.What if i bought it from a place far away from me?What if the shopkeeper doesn't take it back?
Here is a way to check whether the one you are gonna buy is original or not
If you are gonna buy a new one
If you are gonna buy a new memory card you can get to know whether the one you are gonna buy is original or not,If you or your friend own an Android Phone,go to Google Play Store and search for SD Insight after installing the free App you just go buy the card and insert it ,if the card is fake or damaged the app will show that the card is invalid,if it is a real one it will show the Manufactures Name,Logo and other details.
If you have bought one already
If you have bought a card already and wanna make sure its fake or not download the software named
H2testw 1.4.The software helps you to write the entire volume of the card and it analyses the written contents the time taken to write depends on your PC and the volume of the card,for me it took hours
Beware
The fake ones will look exactly like the original ones even the packet,it hard to distinguish with our eyes,thanks for the developers of SD Insight and H2testw
